As an Anti-Fraud Data Analyst at adjoe, you will play a crucial role in identifying and combating fraudulent patterns across billions of daily events. Our mission is to safeguard the integrity of our ad delivery system and protect advertisers, publishers, and users alike. You will be responsible for understanding, improving, and safeguarding the ad delivery system, which processes over 440 million ad events daily.
You will lead the team in diagnosing and resolving issues across complex, asynchronous systems that handle 2,000 games from top studios worldwide. Your responsibilities include building the analytical infrastructure that supports fraud detection. This involves using Python and Airflow to identify suspicious behavior, monitor traffic quality, and alert on anomalies. You will translate investigative findings into clear data-driven decisions that ensure the protection of advertisers, safeguard revenue, and enable trusted business growth.
In your role, you will be responsible for the first line of technical knowledge for the Anti-Fraud unit, working closely with business stakeholders. You will translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations, ensuring that your work has a direct impact on 770 million users. You will be expected to work fluently in SQL, CTEs, joins, and aggregations, and you will have experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
You will work on projects that require you to think beyond one-off analysis, contribute to reporting, monitoring, and alerting systems that serve global operations. You will also have experience with BI tooling, including dbt or API integrations.
To succeed in this role, you should have a background in Anti-Fraud or anomaly detection, and a strong background in AdTech or mobile app analytics. You should also be familiar with the technology stack, including React, Python, and a deep understanding of the AdTech industry.
