In this dynamic and innovative position, you will join a rapidly growing health-tech startup at an early stage. Our mission is to make quality healthcare accessible to all, leveraging technology to deliver treatment to patients in remote and underserved areas. Currently, we serve hundreds of patients every month, with plans to scale significantly. This role is a perfect fit for a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on frontend development, eager to contribute to both the product and the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer with a frontend focus, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining responsive, high-performance frontend applications using React
- Developing and integrating APIs in our Node.js (NestJS) backend
- Converting design concepts into polished, accessible user experiences
- Writing clean, testable, well-documented code, and helping to raise the bar on quality
- Participating in code reviews, architecture decisions, and the continuous evolution of our engineering practices
- Helping to maintain and gradually modernize legacy services
Throughout your role, you will work closely with product and design teams to ensure that your contributions align with the overall vision and goals of the product. Your frontend expertise will enable you to create intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and streamline the delivery of treatment to patients.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of solid professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong command of TypeScript and modern React
- Hands-on experience with TanStack Router and TanStack Query — or the ability to pick them up quickly
- Working knowledge of Node.js, ideally with NestJS
- A good grasp of APIs, state management, and component-driven development
- A genuine focus on quality: testing, performance, and accessibility
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
- Nice to have: Spring Boot (Kotlin) for our legacy stack, experience in healthcare or another regulated industry, and familiarity with CI/CD
