Job Title: Remote Film Editor Editor
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced film editor to enhance and polish a previously cut feature-length film. This position offers a starting salary of 00 for one week of work. The opportunity to receive further compensation based on performance is contingent upon meeting or exceeding expectations. The role is remote, allowing the editor to work from the comfort of their home. The United States-based leadership team is located in the United States, and additional information will be provided after the initial inquiry.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and Enhance Script:
- Carefully review the original script to ensure it aligns with the final film’s vision.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements, enhancing the script’s readability and coherence.
2. Editing and Cut Review:
- Conduct a thorough cut review to ensure all scenes, shots, and transitions are polished and cohesive.
- Identify and correct any technical issues, such as poor sound quality, lighting, and overall visual consistency.
3. Visual and Aesthetic Enhancements:
- Offer visual and aesthetic suggestions that enhance the film’s visual narrative.
- Recommend color grading, lighting adjustments, and other visual enhancements that improve the film’s overall aesthetic.
4. Collaboration with Leadership:
- Work closely with the film’s leadership team to ensure alignment with the project’s goals and vision.
- Collaborate on the editing process to ensure all elements are consistent and meet the desired aesthetic and narrative goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years of professional film editing experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other video editing software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Attention to Detail: Highly attentive to details, with a keen eye for visual and narrative coherence.
