Job Title: Full Stack Developer - React Native and Mobile App Development
Location: Remote or Local to the Developer’s Preferred Work Location
Status: Full-Time, Remote, or On-site (depending on location)
Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Bonuses
Duration: Initially for 6 Months, with the potential for extended hiring based on performance
Role Overview:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using React Native. Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative solutions that enhance user experiences, leveraging modern technologies and frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of your projects with existing systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using React Native.
- Collaborate with designers to bring concepts to life in high-quality mobile applications.
- Continuously refine designs based on feedback and user testing results.
2. Development and Deployment:
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable React Native code following best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration of components with the backend API.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
3. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality of the applications.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix bugs.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development cycles.
4. Project Management:
- Manage and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in project retrospectives to improve team processes and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
5. Documentation and Maintenance:
- Create comprehensive documentation for application features and functionalities.
- Maintain existing applications by fixing bugs, updating features, and adding new functionalities as required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve application performance and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native.
- Proficiency in React Native, understanding of Android Studio, and knowledge of iOS development.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with tools like Webpack, Babel, and Lint.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and comfortable with continuous integration and deployment practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with design patterns and best practices for mobile app development.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js, Express.js, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
