Senior Technical Documentation Specialist - Full Time | Munich
Our partner organization in Munich is looking to fill the position of a Senior Technical Documentation Specialist (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Create and update replacement technical documentation and corresponding data sets
- Review technical documents, drawings, and part lists, preparing them for documentation
- Create technical illustrations and ensure documentation is complete and of high quality
- Process and respond to change requests to maintain the accuracy of technical documents
- Coordinate and work closely with documentation projects, collaborating with customers, service providers, and internal functional departments
Requirements
- University degree in a technical field, such as Technical Writing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specific additional qualification
- Previous experience as a Technical Documentation Specialist, Technical Documentarian, Technical Product Designer, or Document Management Manager
- A strong technical understanding and experience in technical documentation
- Proficiency with document creation and illustration tools, and ideally with working with 3D data
- Strong organizational skills, quality awareness, and excellent language abilities—both in spoken and written form, particularly in German and English
