At our rapidly growing early-stage startup, we're looking for a dedicated part-time DevOps engineer to help us scale our infrastructure efficiently. This role is perfect for someone with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and a proven track record of managing complex systems.
We're focused on solidifying our current infrastructure as we move towards larger growth, so we need someone who can handle both day-to-day operations and strategic planning. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring our cloud infrastructures run smoothly on AWS, and monitoring and alerting for system health.
As part of our small, agile team, you'll collaborate closely with developers, providing technical guidance and support. Your expertise will be invaluable, especially when troubleshooting issues or managing the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Managing cloud infrastructures on AWS
- Monitoring and alerting for system health
- Being the go-to person for infrastructure issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS)
- Kubernetes experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
- Spotting problems before they become incidents
Salary Details:
