Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Backend Development:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js or similar frameworks.
- Build and manage databases using SQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Implement security measures to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting).
- Develop microservices to enhance scalability and maintainability.
2. Frontend Development:
- Create and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and JavaScript.
- Develop user interfaces that are intuitive and engaging.
- Implement modern front-end practices such as componentization, state management, and lazy loading.
3. Full Stack Integration:
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure consistent design and functionality across the application.
- Implement seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components.
- Optimize performance and maintain the application for high traffic.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct unit and integration testing using tools like Jest and Istanbul.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
- Perform regression testing and implement continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
5. Documentation and Maintenance:
- Write clear, concise documentation for both front-end and back-end components.
- Maintain the application by fixing bugs, adding new features, and updating the codebase as needed.
6. Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
- Participate in sprint planning and code reviews to ensure alignment with the team’s goals.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Express.js).
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
2. Soft Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Background:
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Prior experience with full-stack development, particularly in web applications, is highly desirable. Experience with modern front-end and back-end technologies, including React, Node.js, and MongoDB, is a significant advantage.
