Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Automation

Work mode: On-site, initially 5 days per week

Supporting a client in Germany, we are looking to strengthen their DevOps and automation capabilities. For this initiative, we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a proven track record in Linux environments and infrastructure automation.
This role will be instrumental in helping customer architects design and implement modern development toolchains, with a particular focus on automating virtual machine provisioning.
This role will involve
- Collaborating closely with customer architects and technical teams
- Designing and implementing infrastructure automation workflows
- Automating VM provisioning and configuration
- Contributing to and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Applying Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices
- Supporting a stable, scalable, and maintainable platform
- Documenting solutions and participating in technical discussions
What we are looking for
A senior-level professional with a demonstrated ability to work independently in complex environments. You should have solid hands-on experience and the confidence to lead projects effectively.
Requirements
Must-have experience:
- Strong Linux systems administration
- Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Ansible for automation and configuration management
- GitLab (repositories and CI/CD)
- General experience with DevOps tools and methodologies
- 5 years of relevant technical experience
Nice to have:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Packer
- Experience in industrial or enterprise environments
