Position Description
As a senior software engineer specializing in automotive test automation, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating various tools for the test automation of GUI and infotainment systems. You will assist in the integration of our IPG CarMaker simulation tool and the configuration of an exemplary infotainment GUI. Additionally, you will build and test a GUI test environment for conducting automated tests within virtual test drives.
Requirements
Strong educational background in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, with a focus on automotive technology or simulation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or C++. Previous experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Squish) or GUI development would be beneficial. An interest in automotive simulation, virtual testing, and modern infotainment systems is highly encouraged. Structured, independent working style and analytical thinking skills are essential. Proficiency in both German and English is required, with strong communication skills.
