Responsibilities
- Track the entire PR lifecycle, collaborating closely with contributors, monitoring review statuses, and managing merge queues to keep our integration pipeline moving fast.
- Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces, robotics pipelines, ROS2 packages, and middleware-related integrations.
- Maintain branching strategy compliance, oversee issue tracking, handle tagging, lead release preparation, and champion ultimate repository hygiene.
- Monitor and maintain our build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, coordinate quick fixes, and support our Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Proactively identify interface mismatches, untangle dependency issues, and eliminate integration blockers across multi-functional teams.
Requirements
- Completion of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments.
- Strong development skills in C++ within Linux environments (exposure to C or scripting languages is a great bonus).
- Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows.
- Deep familiarity with Git-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems.
- A strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces).
Nice to have:
- Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, UART).
- Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS.
- Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi-team or cross-functional environments.
