Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales Cycle: All aspects of the sales process from pipeline sourcing to deal negotiation and closing. Communicate effectively and confidently with potential clients through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Develop a Strategic Territory Plan: Gain a deep understanding of the target market, competitive landscape, and market trends. Use this knowledge to create and execute a territory plan that maximizes sales opportunities and meets revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Sales Management: Work closely with sales management to understand market feedback and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Collaborate with partners, such as channel partners, to drive new customer acquisition and enhance revenue.
- Present Solutions: Effectively present Emburse’s solutions, including the use of web presentation, to potential clients. Demonstrate the company’s service, benefits, and processes to clients through all available channels.
- Understand AP, Expense, and Business Needs: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business operations, including AP, expense management, and financial workflows. This knowledge is crucial for finding the most effective solutions and addressing customer pain points.
- Identify and Generate Leads: Use prospecting skills and networking efforts to build a robust pipeline of large-size businesses. Present Emburse’s solutions to potential clients through web presentations and other sales techniques.
- Quantify and Articulate Value: Use strong presentation skills to quantify and articulate value. Overcome objections and close deals by understanding customer needs and using negotiation techniques that benefit Emburse.
- Perform Regular Check-ins: Participate in weekly sales meetings to provide market feedback to management and stay informed about the latest trends and strategies in the AP, expense, and business management industries.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience selling financial SaaS solutions to companies with a maximum of 200 employees.
- Skills: Proven track record of closing large deals, strong prospecting skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze AP/Expense processes, and strong presentation skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in email, Zoom, Salesforce, and other sales-related tools is essential. Strong sales techniques and strategies, as well as the ability to quantify and articulate value, are also crucial.
- Personal Qualities: A keen interest in business operations, strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the willingness to take on new challenges.
