Job Description
selectry GmbH · Remote (Germany) · Part-time · Flexible hours
Skills: Figma · Lovable · Vibe Coding · GEO · SEO · CRO · GA4 · Prompt Engineering · AI Tooling
What We Are Building
selectry is an AI-powered HR Tech startup. We help companies find and hire the right people faster, by cutting through the noise that makes modern recruiting slow and imprecise. We are in Beta, fully remote and building fast.
Our core belief is simple: hiring should be based on what people can actually do, not on job titles or years on a CV. That shapes how we build the product. And it shapes how we hire the team that builds it.
This working student role is the proof of concept for that belief. We are not looking for the candidate with the most polished profile. We are looking for the one who can show us the work.
Why This Role Exists
Our website is the entry point into the whole recruiting system. It needs to convert visitors into booked meetings, rank for high-intent searches and be visible across AI-driven discovery platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The Brandbook, content and layouts are ready. The build layer is Figma into Lovable. The visibility layer is SEO and GEO. What is missing is the person who connects those pieces and makes it work as a system.
This is a working student role where a sharp person with the right tools and a system mindset will outperform someone with years of experience using the wrong approach. We are an HR Tech company that believes skill beats seniority. So we designed this role, and this job posting, to reflect that.
What You Will Build
The live site
Translate the existing Figma designs, Brandbook and content into a production-ready website, using Lovable as your primary AI build layer
Set up hosting, domain and technical configuration, then evaluate and decide the right frontend approach for our setup
The conversion flow
Own the full path from first visit to booked meeting: CTA structure, form integration, mobile experience and friction removal based on real behavioural data
Connect web analytics and our CRM from day one so every lead is captured, measured and routed correctly
Search and AI visibility
Use AI-powered SEO tooling to build high-intent keyword clusters and structure core pages so search engines rank us and AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cite us
Implement schema markup and structured content architecture that makes the site readable and referenceable across all discovery platforms
The technology roadmap
Evaluate frontend options with a clear written recommendation, then prepare a phased plan: fast launch, system extension and platform build
What You Bring
No degree requirement. No minimum years. We hire on skills and on what you have actually built. Student projects, side projects and self-taught work all count. Show us the output.
You have used Figma to design or structure real interfaces and have built something with Lovable: show us what you made, even if it is a side project or a self-taught experiment
You know how SEO works in practice: page structure, keyword intent, metadata and internal linking, applied on a real site or project
You understand that visibility in 2026 means both traditional SEO and GEO: structuring content so AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can retrieve and cite it
You have set up or worked with web analytics and can read conversion data in GA4 or a comparable tool
You use GenAI tools as a natural part of how you work, not as an occasional shortcut
You take ownership, work independently and ship without waiting to be told every next step
Good to Know
These are not requirements. If you have them, good. If not, the role will teach you.
Experience connecting a site to a CRM or lead capture platform
Working knowledge of schema markup, structured data or headless CMS concepts
First exposure to GEO: structuring content so AI engines can retrieve and cite it
Skills
AI Build: Figma · Lovable · Figma Make · Vibe Coding · AI-powered Web Development · Context Engineering
Visibility: SEO · Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) · Schema Markup · Structured Data · Google Search Console
Conversion: Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) · Landing Page Optimisation · A/B Testing · Mobile-first Design · UX Design
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) · Web Analytics · Microsoft Clarity · Behavioural Analytics
Marketing Tech: CRM Integration · Lead Generation · Marketing Automation
Mindset: Systems Thinking · Ownership Mindset · Independent Working · Analytical Thinking
What You Get
Fully remote with flexible hours built around your studies
You ship a real product: something live, used by real companies and improved every week
Direct access to the founder, short decision paths and feedback that is honest rather than polished
The Brandbook, content and design system are already in place. You focus on building and outcomes, not starting from scratch
Hands-on experience at the current edge of AI web building, SEO, GEO and conversion work in a live HR Tech environment
A real environment to grow in: we invest in people who build with us, create space to develop beyond the task and open up more responsibility as you prove yourself
If the fit is right, there is a path beyond the working student contract. We are building a company and we want the people who helped build it to grow with it
How to Apply
We practice what we preach. This is skill-based hiring. No CV required, no cover letter.
Send us two things:
Show us something you built. A URL, a Lovable project, a Figma file, a live site, a repo. Anything real. A description of what you could build does not count.
We are building an HR Tech website that needs to rank on Google and be cited by AI engines. Tell us: looking at what we do and who we help, what is one thing a visitor should immediately understand when they land on selectry.io, and how would you make sure both search engines and AI discovery platforms surface that clearly? One specific answer. This tells us how you think about visibility and conversion together, not separately.
If those two things are strong, we will reach out within a few days. We do not ghost.
A note on who we hire
We built this job posting around skills and output, not background, identity or biography. That is intentional. We evaluate everyone on the same two things: what you have built and how you think. Nothing else is part of the decision. selectry is committed to equal opportunity and welcomes applications from all people, regardless of gender, background, nationality, age or any other characteristic. If the work fits, you fit.
