Job Description

Gemeinsam mit einem unserer Partner, einem regionalem Unternehmen im Automobilumfeld, suchen wir aktuell einen Senior Server Engineer (m/w/d) am Standort Kiel, der den IT-Service in einer verteilten Organisation auf das nächste Level hebt.

Werde Teil eines IT-Teams, das seine Infrastruktur kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und gezielt in Richtung einer modernen, stabilen und skalierbaren Systemlandschaft ausbaut. In einem stark operativen Umfeld hast Du die Möglichkeit, nicht nur den laufenden Betrieb sicherzustellen, sondern die IT aktiv mitzugestalten und nachhaltig weiterzuentwickeln.

Als Senior Server Engineer übernimmst Du eine zentrale Rolle bei der Stabilisierung und Modernisierung der gesamten Server- und Plattformlandschaft und arbeitest dabei eng mit der Infrastrukturleitung zusammen.

Aufgaben

Stabilität & Performance: Du verantwortest den stabilen Betrieb sowie die Performance der gesamten Serverplattform und stellst die Verfügbarkeit geschäftskritischer Systeme sicher

Reengineering & Modernisierung: Du analysierst bestehende Strukturen, beseitigst technische Altlasten und treibst die nachhaltige Optimierung der Systemlandschaft voran

Virtualisierung & Plattformbetrieb: Du betreibst und entwickelst Virtualisierungsumgebungen (VMware / VxRail) weiter und gestaltest die zukünftige Plattformstrategie aktiv mit

Microsoft & Identity: Du administrierst und entwickelst Active Directory, Gruppenrichtlinien sowie Microsoft 365 / Entra Integrationen weiter

Terminalserver & Citrix: Du verantwortest den Betrieb und die Modernisierung der Terminalserver-Landschaft (RDS / Citrix), inklusive Reengineering bestehender Umgebungen

Monitoring & Betrieb: Du nutzt Monitoring-Tools (z. B. PRTG) zur Performanceanalyse und sorgst für einen stabilen und transparenten Betrieb

Backup & Recovery: Du stellst zuverlässige Backup- und Recovery-Prozesse sicher (z. B. mit Cohesity)

Projektarbeit & Zusammenarbeit: Du setzt eigenständig Infrastrukturprojekte um und arbeitest eng mit internen Teams sowie externen Dienstleistern zusammen

Qualifikation

Erfahrung: Du bringst langjährige Erfahrung im Server- und Infrastrukturumfeld mit und hast komplexe IT-Landschaften erfolgreich betrieben und weiterentwickelt

Virtualisierung: Du verfügst über sehr gute Kenntnisse in VMware und Virtualisierungstechnologien

Microsoft Stack: Du hast fundierte Erfahrung mit Windows Server, Active Directory und Gruppenrichtlinien sowie Kenntnisse in Microsoft 365 und Entra ID

Terminalserver: Du hast Erfahrung mit Citrix oder RDS und kennst Dich mit gewachsenen Terminalserver-Umgebungen aus

Operations-Mindset: Du arbeitest hands-on, eigenständig und hast ein starkes Verständnis für stabilen IT-Betrieb

Arbeitsweise: Du gehst strukturiert und analytisch vor und bist in der Lage, komplexe Probleme nachhaltig zu lösen
