Job Description
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Representative to spearhead our growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will build strategic relationships at C-level with German enterprise organizations, translating complex integration challenges into concrete business outcomes. For this role you have to be based in the DACH-region.
This is not a cold-calling role. You are a trusted advisor who opens doors with insight, not volume. You understand why a CIO loses sleep over fragmented middleware, legacy API sprawl, or upcoming NIS2 and DORA compliance deadlines -- and you know how to start that conversation.
About Yenlo
Yenlo is a leading global integration specialist with more than 15 years of experience helping enterprises connect, automate, and secure their digital ecosystems. As a Platinum WSO2 Partner (Partner of the Year 2018–2020, 2022) and a Boomi Advanced Partner, we deliver integration, API management, and Identity & Access Management solutions to enterprises across Europe. We currently employ the largest number of certified WSO2 consultants worldwide and are proud to have three WSO2 Ambassadors within our organization.
Yenlo consists of over 100 colleagues. In addition to our back-office teams, our workforce is primarily made up of highly educated technical IT specialists. We are a group of exceptionally skilled professionals—recognized among the top experts in the field of integration—who are passionate about delivering innovative, high-quality projects. We are an international organization with more than 18 nationalities represented, English as our corporate language, and clients across the globe.
We have offices and colleagues in the Netherlands (Schiphol-Rijk (HQ) and Dongen), Germany, Spain, Sri Lanka, the United States, and Canada. Our client base ranges from mid-sized organizations to large enterprises across sectors including financial services, government, healthcare, education, industry, retail, transport, and logistics. Our clients include Swissgrid, Gebruder Weiss, CEVA logistics, Hanseatic Bank, Nexeye and Basic-Fit.
Our headquarters are located in Schiphol-Rijk, and we continue to expand our European footprint. The Netherlands is our home market—where we have our strongest client base, deepest network, and greatest ambitions.
What you will do
Identify and qualify enterprise accounts in the DACH region with integration, API management, or IAM challenges
Build pipeline through strategic outreach, partner collaboration, events, and thought leadership
Engage C-level stakeholders (CTO, CIO, CDO) with substantive, consultative conversations
Translate technical complexity (iPaaS, API management, IAM, data governance) into tangible business value
Collaborate closely with solution architects, marketing, and partner teams
Represent Yenlo at industry events, trade shows, and partner activities across DACH
Native German speaker (Muttersprachler). Fluent in English.
7+ years of B2B tech sales or business development experience, with at least 3 years in integration, middleware, or an adjacent domain
Strong domain knowledge of iPaaS, API management, or integration platforms (Boomi, WSO2, MuleSoft, TIBCO, Informatica, or similar)
Adjacent expertise in one or more of: Identity & Access Management, data management, AI/ML, governance & compliance
Proven track record in pipeline generation, complex deal qualification (MEDDIC/BANT), and C-level engagement
Experience operating in the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Hunter mentality: self-starting, entrepreneurial, hands-on
Strong nice-to-haves
Also Dutch-speaking (ideal for internal communication with our NL team)
Vertical expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Government
Experience with partner/channel ecosystems
Existing network in the German enterprise IT market
Knowledge of NIS2, DORA, and EU AI Act compliance trajectories
What we offer
Competitive base salary
Attractive bonus schemes
Annual vacation allowance (Germany), 13th and 14th payments (Austria)
Reimbursement of travel expenses
Laptop and business mobile phone
27 holiday days and public holidays for the region you live in
Monthly internet allowance
Maternity, Paternity & Parental leave arrangements
The opportunity to build Yenlo's DACH business from the ground up -- with full backing of leadership and an established product portfolio
Access to a unique combined platform offering: Boomi + WSO2 + Connext
A collaborative, international team with deep technical expertise
Flexibility: remote/hybrid working with travel within DACH and to NL headquarters
Professional development and certification opportunities (Boomi, WSO2)
Why now?
NIS2, DORA, and EU AI Act are creating compliance urgency at German enterprises -- exactly our playing field
DACH represents 39.4% of our European TAM (13,350 ICP-qualified companies) but currently generates only 6% of our revenue
Major market movements (Software AG/IBM transition, EQT/WSO2 reorganization, Ping Identity/ForgeRock merger) are opening doors
You will join at the ground floor of a strategic expansion, with direct access to the CCO and board
Has your interest been aroused? We look forward to getting to know you. We look forward to receiving your application, come and talk!
Acquisition efforts in response to this vacancy are not appreciated.

Expert Career Tips for Senior Business Development Representative (DACH Region) Roles
To succeed in a competitive market as a Senior Business Development Representative (DACH Region), you need more than just technical skills. Here are some expert strategies to elevate your profile:
- Build a Strong Portfolio: For technical roles, a clean GitHub or a personal project site is essential. For non-technical roles, a case study portfolio demonstrating problem-solving and impact is equally valuable. Show, don't just tell, what you have achieved in your previous positions.
- Master the Narrative: When interviewing, use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers. Quantify your results wherever possible—mentioning "increased efficiency by 20%" is much more impactful than saying "improved efficiency."
- Continuous Learning: The industry moves fast. Whether it's staying updated with the latest AI tools or mastering a new management methodology, continuous professional development is key. Consider obtaining industry-recognized certifications that align with Senior Business Development Representative (DACH Region) requirements.
- Networking: Connect with other professionals in similar roles. Join online communities, attend webinars, and engage in meaningful discussions on professional social networks. Often, the best opportunities come through referrals and community engagement.
- Soft Skills Matter: Communication, empathy, and leadership are often the deciding factors between two equally qualified technical candidates. Cultivate these skills as they are universally valued across all industries and seniority levels.
Additionally, research the specific company's culture and values. Tailoring your application to show how you align with their mission can significantly increase your chances of moving forward in the process.

Comprehensive Application Strategy & Hiring Process
Applying for a new role is a marathon, not a sprint. Follow this strategic approach to maximize your success rate:
1. Initial Research & Tailoring
Don't send the same resume to every employer. Spend at least 30 minutes researching the company. Look for recent news, their product roadmap, and their team structure. Modify your summary and core competencies to reflect the specific keywords found in the job description.
2. The Perfect Cover Letter
If the application allows for a cover letter, use it to tell a story that your resume cannot. Explain why you are passionate about this specific company and how your unique background makes you the perfect fit for the challenges they are currently facing.
3. Navigating the Multi-Stage Interview
Most modern hiring processes involve 3-5 stages. This typically includes a recruiter screen, a technical or skill-based assessment, a peer interview, and a final leadership round. Prepare for each stage differently: focus on enthusiasm and fit for the recruiter, technical depth for the assessment, and strategic vision for the leadership round.
4. Post-Interview Follow-Up
Always send a personalized thank-you note within 24 hours of each interview. Reference a specific topic discussed during the call to demonstrate your active listening and genuine interest in the role.
By following these steps, you demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail that sets you apart from the average applicant.
Typical Interview Process
- Resume screening
- HR call
- Skill interview
- Final manager interview

Tip: Research the company's products and culture.
Global Market Intelligence & Relocation Insights
At JobSetuu, we specialize in helping talent navigate the global job market. Here is what you need to know about the current landscape in Frankfurt and beyond:
The demand for skilled professionals is increasingly borderless. For roles based in Frankfurt, understanding the local cost of living, visa requirements (if applicable), and cultural nuances is vital. If this is a remote role, consider the time zone alignment and the asynchronous communication culture of the hiring organization.
Relocation Support: Many forward-thinking companies offer relocation packages that include moving stipends, temporary housing, and legal assistance with work permits. When evaluating an offer, look beyond the base salary—consider the total compensation package, including equity, bonuses, and healthcare benefits.
Work-Life Balance Trends: Hybrid and remote work have become standard in many regions. Research the local labor laws and common practices regarding work hours and vacation time to ensure the role aligns with your lifestyle goals.
Leveraging JobSetuu's tools can help you compare salaries across different cities and understand the "purchasing power" of your potential offer, ensuring you make an informed decision for your long-term career path.
Skills & Competency Roadmap for Professional Development
To remain competitive in Professional Development, we recommend focusing on the following core competencies over the next 12-18 months:
- Technical Mastery: Deepen your expertise in the core tools and languages relevant to your field. For developers, this might be cloud architecture; for marketers, it might be data-driven attribution modeling.
- AI Augmentation: Learn how to leverage generative AI and automation tools to increase your productivity. Understanding how to integrate these technologies into your workflow is becoming a non-negotiable skill.
- Leadership & Strategy: Even in individual contributor roles, the ability to think strategically and lead projects from inception to completion is highly valued. Focus on stakeholder management and high-level project planning.
- Data Literacy: The ability to interpret data and use it to drive decisions is essential across all business functions. Familiarize yourself with data visualization and basic analytical concepts.
By investing in these areas, you not only prepare yourself for the role you are applying for today but also build a resilient foundation for the opportunities of tomorrow.
