Our Passion - Be a part of it!
Originally emerging from a research project, indurad has been developing innovative sensor solutions for the global leading raw materials industry since 2008. From our headquarters in Aachen, our team of 150 fantastic employees ensures that our high-quality solutions lead to more safety and reduced greenhouse emissions in the bulk and raw materials industry around the world.
indurad combines the dynamics of a start-up with the energy and ideas of a large corporation – that’s what makes us unique! We are a diverse team of talented, innovation-driven individuals focused on making a positive impact on a large scale.
But there's still something missing – and that's you!
We are looking for a Product Lead - Real Time Localization System (m/f/d) to join our team at our headquarters in Aachen as soon as possible.
Tasks
- Act as internal Product Owner for the real‑time localization platform powering UG CAS with full system responsibility across electronics, radio technology, firmware, and software.
- Maintain a transparent, value‑driven product backlog and ensure development execution remains aligned with product vision, roadmap, release plans, and system constraints.
- Maintain an end‑to‑end overview of a highly complex, safety‑relevant system and ensure coherent interaction between hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Coordinate and align cross‑disciplinary development teams (electronics, radio, firmware, software, safety, QA), ensuring interface clarity, technical consistency, and integration readiness.
- Drive product lifecycle activities including product changes, component discontinuations, ERP product status, qualification, certification, and end‑of‑life management.
- Serve as the technical first responder for all product‑related questions and issues, able to analyze problems at system level, resolve them independently where possible, or coordinate the right experts for efficient resolution.
- Own and manage system‑level risks (technical, operational, quality, and dependencies) across the full product stack, proactively identifying and mitigating integration and delivery risks.
Requirements
- Broad technical background with solid hands‑on understanding of electronics, radio / RF technologies, firmware, and software development in complex systems.
- Proven ability to keep a system‑level overview, understand interactions and trade‑offs across disciplines, and take responsibility for the overall technical coherence of a product.
- Experience coordinating multiple development teams and acting as the central technical integration point between hardware and software domains.
- Strong analytical skills to classify issues quickly, assess impact and risk, and drive structured problem resolution across organizational boundaries.
- Familiarity with regulated or safety‑critical products, including qualification, certification, and lifecycle management in an industrial environment.
- Structured, precise working style with high documentation discipline and a strong sense for process continuity and product quality.
- Ownership‑driven mindset with the confidence to make technical decisions, escalate when needed, and represent the product internally with authority.
- You are comfortable working in an international environment and have very good German and English language skills.
Benefits
- An attractive salary package is a given. Additionally, you will benefit from various allowances, such as a company pension plan, business bike, or a subsidy for your job ticket.
- 30 days of vacation and up to five additional days off through flexible working hours.
- Whether you're an early bird or a night owl – thanks to flexible working models (flextime), you can design your workday to suit you.
- With us, you can expect a diverse and challenging range of tasks in an international project environment.
- Family time is especially important to us, and we live that every day: In addition to our family-friendly working hours, we cover the childcare costs for your child/children – whether it's a kindergarten, daycare, or family care.
- We offer you a workplace with a feel-good factor: bright, modern spaces, innovative tools, ergonomic equipment, drinks and snacks, free parking, and plenty of room for initiative and personal development – all of this is important to us so that you feel completely comfortable!
- Direct access to management and supervisors, open communication, a valued team atmosphere, and a relaxed dress code are just as important to us as a lived "you" culture.
