About the team:
You'll be joining a dynamic, globally distributed team focused on driving SumUp's expansion into new markets. The team works at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product, collaborating with cross-functional partners across several continents to ensure seamless market launches. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, international environment where ownership and impact are front and centre.
What you'll do:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of market launch programs across multiple geographies simultaneously
- Define and manage project scopes, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders
- Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers - and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep launches on track
- Serve as the central point of coordination between Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams
- Build and maintain scalable launch frameworks, playbooks, and templates that improve how SumUp enters new markets
- Track program performance metrics and share insights with senior leadership to support data-driven decisions
- Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and feeding them back into the launch process
You'll be great for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally in a global, fast-scaling tech or fintech environment
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders across different time zones
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear action plans
- Experience working on international or market expansion initiatives is a strong plus
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a high tolerance for change and ambiguity
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Notion, or similar)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus
