Job Description
I’m a designer, and whenever I see a remote role on LinkedIn, within 1–2 days it already shows 100+ applicants. Meanwhile, local roles in my city seem to get around 50–60. That makes me wonder, if remote jobs are open globally, are companies getting like 500–1000 applications per role? If so, how does anyone realistically stand out or even get noticed? For those of you who’ve actually landed remote design jobs recently: \- Did you apply cold, or was it through networking/referrals? \- How important was your portfolio vs experience? \- Any strategies that actually worked for you? Would really appreciate honest insights. I’m in a comfortable design job, but I keep seeing them pop up for better money than what I’m on.Salary & Compensation
