Job Description

As a People Analytics Intern (m/f/d), you will support our Senior People Analyst in improving the HR data foundation, delivering high quality reporting, and helping Global HR Department make better data driven decisions.

This role is based in Munich (3 times per week in office), full-time for 6 months (with potential to extend internship for another 6 months) and available from May/June (flexible).

About the Role

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to collect reporting requirements and translate them into clear data solutions
  • Support regular HR data outputs by preparing, for example, headcount, hiring, and turnover datasets, compensation, gender pay gap, including sensitive and confidential reports
  • Write SQL queries to clean, validate, and transform employee data
  • Support the development and maintenance of HR data pipelines and models in Snowflake
  • Contribute to data quality checks and fixing data issues across systems (e.g. Workday, Greenhouse, Peakon)
  • Help in the documentation of data transformations, definitions, reporting processes and Dashboards
  • Support creation of dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI, managing data access and security sharing

About You

  • Enrolled student, or recent graduate, in a Bachelor's/Master's program in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or simila
  • Strong SQL fundamentals and ability to work with datasets logically and precisely, detail oriented with a passion for clean, reliable data
  • Comfortable working with numbers and structured data; experience with Python and dbt is a strong plus
  • Curious about HR processes and how data can improve end-to-end employee lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills to explain logic and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn modern data tools (Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Python)
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
