Become more efficient at working with AI — and help shape the internal processes of a fast-growing PropTech company.

We are syte — a PropTech company based in Münster that develops AI-powered software providing the decision-making foundation for real estate development. Our platform replaces weeks of expert consultations with instant, AI-driven analyses: project developers, property developers, banks, and investors use syte to decide whether, what, and where to build, renovate, or acquire.

We operate as an AI-first company. Efficiency through AI isn't a side project — it's our growth strategy. That's exactly why we're looking for you as an AI Enablement Engineer (m/f/d) to start from 01.08.2026. The position can be filled remotely anywhere in Germany or at our headquarters in Münster.

Your mission:

  • Development: You'll build complex automations that go beyond what no-code tools can do — API integrations, custom Python/TypeScript scripts, agentic workflows, and internal tools.
  • Learning & Enablement: You'll empower colleagues across all departments to create their own automations. You'll lead the AI Circle, offer office hours, run hands-on workshops, and write the internal documentation that makes self-service possible.
  • Tool Discovery: You'll curate our AI tool stack. You'll define and maintain the standard set of approved tools, evaluate new tools in terms of cost, benefit, and risk, and retire redundant ones.
  • Security & Compliance: You'll manage data flows and security. You'll own the AI Tracker, conduct basic data protection and security reviews for system integrations, and ensure compliance.
  • AI Architecture: You'll create a shared foundation — common infrastructure (authentication, secrets, integration platforms, prompt libraries, reusable components) so that others can build safely and quickly.

Your profile

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development, automation engineering, AI tools, or a related field.
  • Solid programming skills: You bring initial experience with Python or TypeScript, allowing you — combined with solid engineering, enablement, and governance across the AI tool landscape — to create real value.
  • No-code application experience: Hands-on experience with at least one no-code automation platform (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.) and confident handling of REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication patterns.
  • AI-native: You work at the cutting edge of AI tooling. Claude Code is one of your most important daily tools. Coding agents, prompt engineering, MCP, and the latest LLM frameworks are part of your standard workflow. You introduce new patterns into the company quickly and set the standard for AI-first work at syte.
  • A "builder-coach" mentality: You enjoy both writing code and teaching non-techies. You feel comfortable in the mix of programming and advising.
  • An instinct for security and data protection: You bring hands-on experience with GDPR requirements and the fundamentals of IT security — not just awareness, but the ability to carry out a basic security review before an integration goes live.
  • Drive and curiosity: This field is only four years old. We value motivation and a willingness to experiment more than to-the-day work experience.
  • Language: You have native-level written and spoken German (C1/C2) and bring business-fluent English skills (at least B2).
